Yan Jianxin appointed as General Manger of LY Steel
On Mar.29th, Organization Department of Hunan Provincial Committee of the CPC convened the meeting on appointment/relief of major leaders in LY Steel. It's announced in the meeting, Yan Jianxin was appointed Executive Director (Legal representative) and General Manager of Lianyuan Iron&Steel Group and Cao Huiquan, Secretary of Party Leadership Group and Chairman of Valin Group was relieved from his concurrent post as Executive Director (Legal representative) and General Manager of Lianyuan Iron&Steel Group.
Chen Zhaoxiong, member of Standing Committee of Hunan Provincial Committee and Vice governor, attended the meeting and made an important speech.
Yan Jianxin, born in 1964, is a Senior Engineer with Master degree. Yan was evaluated by Valin Group as "of relatively high political and ideological level; affection towards LY Steel; loyalty to the Party; professional mastery of specialty; and confidence, competence and courage committed to the mission entrusted at the critical moment to overcome the difficulties". Yan has worked consecutively as main leaders of several departments and workshops at LY Steel. Since August 2011, he was appointed Deputy General-manager and took charge of production, safety, equipment, energy, environmental protection, work performance evaluation etc.
